Overview:  Participants in BVA's signature Business Growth Design Studio complete the annual cycle growth idea evaluation, planning and implementation with a peer group using best practices tailored for small firms.  


Audience: Owners and individuals highly motivated to implement specific ideas for business expansion through strategic marketing, new products, services and intellectual property.

Quarter One:    Readiness or Growth, Strategic Thinking, Key Planning tools

Quarter Two:    Developing a strategic idea:  The cycle and customer feedback

    Quarter Three: Implementing your development strategy


    Launch presentations and celebration


      Locations:  Oakland site, TechLiminal, BART accessible serving  businesses
                        from Richmond to San Leandro

                        San Francisco site, TBD, serving S.F. and Marin county

                        Alameda County site TBD, south from Hayward to San Jose

      Dates:         Oakland location starting Q1, 2012

                         San Francisco starting in Fall, 2012

      Format:      Monthly one half-day workshop and  individual advising. 

                        Program runs for ten months.

      Cost:          Two tiers based on selected individual advising levels

        Tier 1          One hour of phone advising          

        Tier 2          Two hours of in person advising
